Having practiced as a dentist prior to going to law school gives Vernon a unique perspective and scientific knowledge in his legal practice. Vernon has a Master's in Health Law that allows him to advise health care providers on regulatory, operational and other contractual health care issues. Vernon also handles medical malpractice defense cases for physicians, dentists and hospitals, as well as representing healthcare professionals in Board and Peer Review matters. Vernon is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law in Texas and is also licensed in Kentucky. His accomplishments also include a LL.M. in Health Law which distinguishes him among his peers and makes his advice on healthcare operational issues invaluable. Vernon has frequently spoken at various medical and dental seminars.

Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
